Summer days, patio entertainment and all the fun stuff in between. Here is a quick glimpse into how to stay away from sugar, weight gain (and hangovers) this summer. First of all, always drink 1 boozy bevie TO 1 tall glass of water. Always 1:1. Always.

You want to pay attention to the sweetness of a drink. Water it down with soda water when unavoidable. Here are my TOP 5 drinks:

  1. Gin/Vodka/Tequila & Soda/Water + Fruit (lemon, lime, berries, herbs, etc) Nude/Nütrl great options. OR a martini with the same ingredients. Get Creative.
  2. Dry White Wine Spritzer (adding soda water to a dry 6oz of wine)
  3. Whiskey Straight up, Neat or rocks. No add on (unless it's soda/water)
  4. No Sugar Mojito - it should be essentially Rum, Soda, Lime and Lime Juice
  5. Strongbow Spritzer - Last on my list as it does have the most amount of carbs/sugar. But I like to water down my Strongbow/Cider with Soda water. Yeah, servers look at my funny, but at least I won't have belly by the end of the summer ;)

Quick Shout Out to Bridge Brewing on their newest addition PrimeTime with 1.5g carbs/can and still sitting at 5%! Well Done!

Feeling weak, anxious and unconnected to my body lead me to start exercising. I joined a dance class once a week and after every dance class I had a glow about me, and it wasn't just from the sweat that I built up in class, it was something more. I realized it was the endorphins that were being produced from the physical activity I was doing. That was 13 years ago. Since then I have devoted my career life to helping other humans, like yourself, kick butt in their health and fitness goals. If you're looking for a helping hand or not even knowing where you should start... I would be more than honoured to help!
