![]() Do you ever wonder if your body is addicted to sugar? How would you know? When we eat foods with a high glycemic index our blood sugar gets spiked, causing a dopamine rush in our brain - also known as a 'sugar high' or 'sugar rush'. Although this may feel good at the time, it does more damage than we may be aware of. This spike in your blood sugar causes immediate fat storage, typically in the belly. We want to help you fix this cycle by replacing some of your daily diet habits with new ones. Did you know it takes the body 3-4 weeks to adapt to a new habit? The body typically does not respond well to 'cutting' habits out, so we would rather replace the bad habits with good ones. Above is a great illustration to print out and post in your kitchen for a friendly reminder to help us stay on track! Click on it for a printer-friendly version. There is a great glucose balancing shopping list on Dr.Oz's website that will aid in this process. We hope you enjoy! Click on the image below!

Jenny TecklenburgFeeling weak, anxious and unconnected to my body lead me to start exercising. I joined a dance class once a week and after every dance class I had a glow about me, and it wasn't just from the sweat that I built up in class, it was something more. I realized it was the endorphins that were being produced from the physical activity I was doing. That was 13 years ago. Since then I have devoted my career life to helping other humans, like yourself, kick butt in their health and fitness goals. If you're looking for a helping hand or not even knowing where you should start... I would be more than honoured to help! Archives
