It's a simple equation that we all know. Achieving a new goal enhances your confidence. Increasing your heart rate and building strength releases endorphins. So let us put that equation together shall we:

Why THE PUSH-UP is an awesome place to start:
  1. Functional Compound Exercise: The Push-Up uses over 1/2 your body's muscle groups, using multiple muscle groups, both stabilizing and recruiting muscle groups.
  2. Injury Prevention: Every push-up you perform will strengthen muscles that will help prevent you from injuries while living everyday life. Think about how many times your shoulders, arms or back feel discomfort from a 'silly thing' you did (ie. grabbing a heavy item off a high shelf, or putting your seatbelt on, or carrying heavy grocery bag/boxes.

    Feeling weak, anxious and unconnected to my body lead me to start exercising. I joined a dance class once a week and after every dance class I had a glow about me, and it wasn't just from the sweat that I built up in class, it was something more. I realized it was the endorphins that were being produced from the physical activity I was doing. That was 13 years ago. Since then I have devoted my career life to helping other humans, like yourself, kick butt in their health and fitness goals.
