1) Start with a fresh start
​Detoxing or Cleansing

If you were like me and had never done a cleanse and aren't pumped about the idea of it, try the below. Ensure you include the nightly baths and sweat everyday (even if it's just from cleaning your kitchen out...)

How Does it Work? Well it's pretty simple. Do this cleanse for 3 days and eliminate harmful toxins, restore your system, and reset your body.

Is It Hard? Check out my blog. I was a cleanse virgin and I found it to be fairly easy, despite my chocolate and wine cravings...but it's 3 days out of your entire life! Come'on!

What Happens After? I also wrote a blog on this. However to sum it up; I felt AMAZING! Lost a little bit of weight, felt like myself again and would HIGHLY recommend it!



2) out with the old,
​make room for the new you

5 things to start with:
  1. Throw out everything in your kitchen/fridge and freezer that is processed.
  2. Buy 3 new healthy cook books, post-it tabs and start searching for new recipes that excite you.
  3. Choose a day to meal-prep. Make it fun - Have a glass of wine or include your kids in the process!
  4. Place photos of fresh food and healthy habits in sight (bedroom closet, on the fridge, bathroom).
  5. Get pumped on herbal tea and lemon water!

3) Nourish your body, don't fill it
you're worth more than that

Finally Canada figured it out, it only took our country 12 years to figure it all out.

You want to eat as close to real as possible, at all times. I know this won't happen 100% of the time, but use your meal prep days to at prep & keep your kitchen stocked with pre-made nourishing recipes. 

My RULES:
  1. Fill up my plate with as many veggies as I can fit.
  2. Bake, Roast, Fry, Raw - you name it, I'll do it.
  3. Spices and Clean Sauces are my friend. I try to make all my sauces from scratch or I can pronounce all the ingredients of the ones I buy (and sugar isn't one of them)
